Restaurant Review: Leopold Café, Mumbai
One of the most frequented cafés in South Mumbai – Leopold’s is one of the hot favourites amongst tourists, college goers and locals. Leopold’s is a good place to drop by after a shopping spree at Colaba Causeway and treat yourself to some lip-smacking lunch.
My suggestion would be to go easy on the starters as the quantity for the Chinese cuisine is pretty filling.
After starting off with fresh lime, beer and French fries, we opted for mixed fried rice and chicken in black garlic sauce.
The quantity was so much for two that we had to ultimately get it packed and bring it home.
Weekends are crowded and one should not expect the staff to be courteous like in fine dining restaurants, but the service is prompt, so that makes up for all the shortcomings.
A meal for two should safely come between Rs. 1,600 – Rs. 2,000/-.
