An ace Textile Designer from Sophia Polytechnique, Mumbai and with more than 18 years of experience in the field, Shivani brings to us some of the latest designs that are apt for every season befitting your home, office or restaurant.

How did it all begin?

It was after supplying to top brands like Yamini, Industree and other stores in their lable the idea of creating products without any limitations germinated. “We wanted to provide a good quality well made product, customized to each person’s requirements and that’s how ACACIA was born in 2008,” says Shivani.

She further adds, “We started with exhibitions and taking customized orders. Currently Acacia caters to a wider customer base and apart from basic readymade products; we adhere to specific customized needs of each client.”

Branding and Clientele

Acacia was created to make good quality products with good finishing and a whole new creativity from what was already available in the market.

This luxury brand also deals with a lot of customization work, so that the client gets exactly what was is best suited for their interiors. People know Acacia as a well-designed product that covers all the soft accents – be it cushions, runners, bed dressings and even table dressings.

With their main clientele including end users, homemakers and boutique hotels such as Le Sutra and the Hiranandani’s, Acacia has come a long way in understanding and catering to each of their customer requirements.

Themes

“Our collections run a theme through the product line; for example the cushions are coordinated to the runners so when placed together they create a visual appeal,” mentions Shivani.

All the gorgeous designs that you see are all created in-house at Acacia. The themes designed are self-created not copied from anywhere else.

“We have our natural innate style and we use fabrics such as silk, jute silk, silk blends, organzas, tissues, lurex to give that stylish edge,” adds Shivani.

Shivani mentions, “Apart from the curtains that are outsourced, depending on the selection made we further style them depending on the client requirements. For our customized orders we take anything between 10-15 days to deliver.”

The price range for the cushions are from INR 500 – INR 2,800, bed dressing from INR 12,000 – INR 18,000, table dressing (including mats and napkins) are priced INR 1,500 onwards for set of six.
